Job Description

Join our team as a Cue Selector, where you'll curate music tracks for films, theatre, and special events. Your role will involve intense collaboration with directors and producers to ensure the soundscapes we create complement our artistic vision.

Responsibilities

• Program and cue music and sound effects for live performances and recordings.
• Work closely with directors and producers to ensure musical selections match the artistic direction.
• Manage the music database and ensure it is up to date with new tracks.
• Review and approve licensing agreements for music tracks.
• Adjust music selections based on feedback from the production team.
• Provide recommendations on music editing software and tools to enhance production quality.
• Assist in creating soundscapes that enhance the narrative of the production.
• Keep abreast of new music releases and emerging artists that could enhance our productions.
• Prepare for and attend production meetings to discuss music needs and updates.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Music Production or a related field
• Higher qualification in sound engineering is a bonus

Experience

• 3 years of experience in the entertainment industry focusing on music selection and production.
