Job Description

As a Rivet Bucker, you will operate pneumatic or hydraulic bucking equipment to install and secure rivets or bolts on metal structures. You will read blueprints and schematics, aligning structural components while ensuring all work meets stringent quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret technical documents and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Secure metal components in alignment for accurate riveting.
  • Operate and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic bucking tools.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with equipment performance.
  • Conduct quality checks on completed assemblies.
  • Assist with training new team members as needed.
  • Document production processes and equipment maintenance.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss workflow and improvements.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Welding certification preferred
Experience
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience
Technical Skills
  • Blueprint reading
  • Precision measurement tools
