Job Description

As an Electrical Engineering Professor, you will be pivotal in shaping the future of engineering education through high-quality teaching and impactful research in electrical engineering. Your role will also include supervision of postgraduate students and active participation in scholarly activities.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate a stimulating academic environment within the Electrical Engineering department.
  • Conduct research in emerging electrical engineering areas and publish findings.
  • Advise undergraduate students on academic paths and career development.
  • Collaborate with faculty on interdisciplinary research projects.
  • Foster partnerships with industry to enhance practical experience opportunities.
  • Promote the department through participation in open days and recruitment events.

Requirements

Education
  • PhD in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
  • Considerable teaching experience at a tertiary level
Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an academic or research-focused role.
