Automotive Brake Technician

Job Description

The Automotive Brake Technician will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining brake systems in vehicles. The successful candidate will work closely with other technicians and mechanics to diagnose brake issues and perform necessary repairs. We are looking for someone who has a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose and repair braking systems and components.
• Perform routine maintenance on brake systems and related parts.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot brake issues.
• Replace brake pads, rotors, and other brake components as needed.
• Provide clear explanations to customers regarding their vehicle's braking system.
• Document all services performed in the company system.
• Collaborate with the service team to optimise workflow and efficiency.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Educate customers about brake system health and maintenance.
• Attend workshops and training for new technologies and techniques.
