Responsibilities

• Perform full grooming services including brushing, bathing, and trimming.
• Assess each pet’s temperament to provide optimal grooming strategies.
• Liaise with pet owners for personalized grooming preferences.
• Ensure all grooming equipment is maintained and sterilized.
• Assist in scheduling appointments and managing the grooming calendar.
• Stay updated with new grooming techniques and trends.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certification in Animal Care or Grooming preferred

Experience

• 2-3 years in a grooming or pet care environment

Technical Skills

• Advanced Grooming Skills
• First Aid for Animals

• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Pet First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Comfortable administering basic first aid: Able to handle minor first aid emergencies generally faced in grooming.
