Job Description

Join our district court team as a Court Clerk, where you will provide administrative support, maintain detailed records, and assist with the preparation of legal documents. Your expertise will ensure a high level of service and responsiveness to court needs, fostering positive interactions with legal professionals and the public.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain detailed and accurate court records while ensuring confidentiality.
  • Support judges and lawyers with administrative tasks.
  • Assist in preparing legal documents for court submissions.
  • Facilitate communication between court officials and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and court policies.
  • Assist with jury selection and provide support during trials.
  • Manage the electronic filing system and assist with data entry.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries regarding court procedures.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Additional coursework in legal studies or administration is preferred
Experience
  • Prior experience in an administrative or clerical role is desirable.
Technical Skills
  • Microsoft Office Suite

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Languages
  • English: Fluent
