Job Description

As a Probation Officer or Correctional Treatment Specialist, you will actively contribute to the community's safety. Your role will involve overseeing individuals on probation and providing the necessary support to facilitate their successful reintegration.

Responsibilities

• Supervise detainees and ensure compliance with facility regulations.
• Facilitate group sessions aimed at rehabilitation and social skills development.
• Coordinate with external agencies for detainee support services.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments for detainees.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of detainee activity.
• Assist detainees with transition plans post-release.
• Engage in conflict resolution among detainees when necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate IV in Community Services is desirable

Experience

• Experience in working with at-risk youth is a plus.

Languages

• English: Fluent
