Join our team as a Musical Instrument Repairer and Tuner, focusing on the tuning and repair of a range of instruments. Candidates will collaborate with musicians to ensure that their instruments perform at their best. Your passion for music and attention to detail will be essential in this role.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough assessments of instruments to identify repair needs.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure high quality of service.
• Educate clients on proper maintenance techniques.
• Document all repairs and maintenance activities meticulously.
• Participate in ongoing training and workshops to refine skills and techniques.
• Manage inventory of spare parts and tools required for repairs.
• Attend music events to assist musicians with on-site tuning.
• Develop long-term relationships with clients to foster loyalty.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Music or equivalent is preferred.

Experience

• Experience with a variety of instruments and musical styles.

Technical Skills

• Experience in electronics and wiring
• Experience in woodworking and finish work

Soft Skills

• Analytical skills
• Team collaboration

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Ability to read musical scores: Competence in understanding written music for effective tuning.
• Experience in teaching music maintenance techniques: Ability to provide guidance and support to clients and colleagues.
