Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Cutting and Slicing Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender to join our Melbourne team. You will ensure machinery is correctly set up and maintained for optimal production efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage the setup and calibration of cutting machines for specific jobs.
• Operate and monitor cutting and slicing machines during production runs.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Document machine settings and production results accurately.
• Assist with inventory management of materials used.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for operational efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Technical qualification in mechanical or manufacturing engineering is advantageous

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting

• Technical Troubleshooting

Languages
