Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Tool and Die Maker responsible for repairing and maintaining dies used in the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and diagnostics on metal stamping dies.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Maintain inventory of tooling components and order supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure equipment operates smoothly.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and maintain a tidy workshop.
• Utilize CNC machines for the repair process when necessary.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in the workshop.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate IV in Engineering - Mechanical Trade or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in die repair or maintenance

Technical Skills

• Die repair techniques
• Machining experience

Soft Skills

• Effective communication
• Adaptability

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Welding experience: Ability to perform welding tasks as needed.
