Fuel Retrofitting Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Fuel Retrofitting Technician to enhance our team. This role involves retrofitting fuel systems on diesel vehicles to improve efficiency and lower emissions. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in automotive mechanics and be proficient in diagnostics and technical support.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough diagnostics on vehicle fuel systems prior to retrofitting.
• Install, test and verify the functionality of retrofitted systems post-installation.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices in fuel efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with the Engineering department on system improvements.
• Document all processes and client interactions for quality assurance.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant vocational qualifications in automotive engineering

Experience

• Experience with emissions testing and reduction is highly desirable.

Certifications

• HVAC Systems Certification (Preferred)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficiency with AutoCAD: Experience using AutoCAD for design and schematics related to fuel systems.
