Job Description

As a Flame Hardener, you will operate and maintain flame-hardening machines to enhance the surface hardness of metal parts. Your role is crucial in ensuring the quality and consistency of our products while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate flame-hardening machines, ensuring correct temperatures and processes.
• Conduct quality checks to verify the effectiveness of the hardening process.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and make necessary repairs.
• Document production processes and report any discrepancies.
• Participate in safety audits and training sessions.
• Assist in training new operators on equipment handling and safety protocols.
• Support the implementation of Lean Manufacturing practices.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Engineering or a related field

Experience

• Experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.
