Job Description

As an Animal Control Worker, you will be responsible for the daily care of dogs in our shelter. Your duties will include feeding, bathing, and providing exercise, while ensuring that the welfare of the animals is maintained at all times. Responsibilities

  • Monitor the dogs for any signs of stress or illness.
  • Provide training and behavioral guidance when necessary.
  • Assist in community outreach programs related to dog adoption.
  • Work collaboratively with veterinarians and behaviorists.

Requirements

Education
  • Certificate III in Animal Studies (or equivalent)
  • Current first aid certificate is preferred
Experience
  • Experience in a shelter environment is highly regarded.
