Job Description

As a Flagger, you will be responsible for controlling traffic flow and enhancing the overall safety of our work sites. Strong communication skills and the ability to stay alert in fast-paced environments are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Manage traffic control plans effectively to ensure smooth operations.
• Coordinate with local authorities for traffic management approvals.
• Implement safety measures to protect both workers and the general public.
• Keep accurate records of work completed and incidents reported.
• Assist in training new Flaggers on safety practices.
• Provide assistance during emergency situations to facilitate traffic flow.
• Stay alert and maintain focus during extended periods.
• Document any damages to traffic control devices and report immediately.
• Engage with the community to address any traffic concerns.
• Collaborate with project managers to align traffic control with project timelines.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate in Traffic Management is preferred

Experience

• Experience in the construction or roadworks industry is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of Safety Regulations
• Traffic Control Protocols

Certifications

• Traffic Management Certificate

Languages
