As a Flagger, you will be responsible for controlling traffic flow and enhancing the overall safety of our work sites. Strong communication skills and the ability to stay alert in fast-paced environments are essential for this role.
Responsibilities
Manage traffic control plans effectively to ensure smooth operations.
Coordinate with local authorities for traffic management approvals.
Implement safety measures to protect both workers and the general public.
Keep accurate records of work completed and incidents reported.
Assist in training new Flaggers on safety practices.
Provide assistance during emergency situations to facilitate traffic flow.
Stay alert and maintain focus during extended periods.
Document any damages to traffic control devices and report immediately.
Engage with the community to address any traffic concerns.
Collaborate with project managers to align traffic control with project timelines.
Requirements
Education
Certificate in Traffic Management is preferred
Experience
Experience in the construction or roadworks industry is a plus.
