Job Description

As a Structural Iron and Steel Worker at Quality Construction Co., you will be responsible for the installation of wooden and metal joists, beams, and trusses in various construction projects. Your expertise will ensure accurate measurements and placements of structural components, providing a solid foundation for buildings. Responsibilities

• Prepare the worksite by removing excess materials and setting up necessary equipment.
• Perform quality checks on installed components to ensure adherence to safety standards.
• Assist in the implementation of safety protocols on-site.
• Report any issues or discrepancies to the Site Supervisor promptly.
• Participate in ongoing training programs to enhance construction skills and knowledge.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Carpentry
• Advanced construction safety certifications (preferred)

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in structural installation or similar role

Technical Skills

• Steel Installation
• Blueprint Reading

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Communication

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Certification in scaffold safety: Preferred certifications related to scaffolding safety practices.
• First Aid certification: Valid First Aid certifications are viewed favourably.
