Job Description

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Patternmaker to join our innovative team. This role involves conducting wood testing, analysis, and developing testing procedures to ensure the quality of our products. The ideal candidate will have a background in wood science or materials science, along with hands-on experience in wood testing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct experimental tests on wood products to measure strength and durability.
• Work closely with the R&D team to identify new product opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards in testing procedures.
• Provide recommendations for improving product performance.
• Assist in training junior staff on testing techniques.

Advantageous

• Experience with wood product development: Hands-on experience in developing new wood products from concept to testing.
• Familiarity with Australian wood species: Knowledge of local wood types and their properties.
• Understanding of wood durability and decay resistance: Insight into factors affecting wood longevity and quality.
