Job Description

The Bus Matron is crucial in ensuring the safety and well-being of school children while they are on transport. This role involves maintaining discipline, addressing any concerns, and communicating effectively with students and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safety and well-being of students on the bus.
  • Assist students in boarding and exiting safely.
  • Oversee student behavior and enforce bus rules.
  • Communicate with school staff and parents regarding concerns.
  • Document incidents and report findings to management.
  • Coordinate with bus drivers for timely arrivals and departures.
  • Assist with routine safety drills and training.
  • Provide first aid assistance as needed.

Requirements

Education

  • Driver's License (desirable)
