We are looking for a skilled Reed Repairer to join our dedicated team at Music Makers Inc. As a Reed Repairer, you will be responsible for repairing, maintaining, and fine-tuning reeds used in woodwind instruments, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of various musical instruments and possess excellent manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Assess and repair reeds in a range of woodwind instruments.
• Work closely with musicians to ensure their satisfaction.
• Implement adjustments for optimal performance.
• Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment.
• Provide guidance to junior staff on reed repair techniques.
• Help develop training materials for new hires.
• Conduct workshops on reed care for local music schools.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Musical Instrument Repair

Experience

• 2+ years in a similar role preferred
