Golf Course Keeper

Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and enthusiastic Golf Course Keeper to join our maintenance team. In this role, you'll be responsible for the upkeep of our beautiful golf course, ensuring the aesthetics and functionality of the grounds are at their finest. Your passion for landscaping, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence will directly contribute to creating a welcoming environment for golfers.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining the golf course's appearance, including fairways, greens, bunkers, and roughs.
• Trimming trees, bushes, and other vegetation to enhance the aesthetics of the course.
• Managing irrigation systems and ensuring optimal water distribution techniques.
• Identifying and controlling weeds, pests, and diseases affecting the turf.
• Repairing divots, ball marks, and any damage caused by equipment or weather.
• Operating various maintenance equipment, including mowers, tractors, and utility vehicles.
• Assisting in special projects, such as course renovations and improvements.
• Providing feedback to the groundskeeping team about course conditions.
• Maintaining records of maintenance activities and supplies.
• Collaborating with contractors for any specialized maintenance tasks.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate in Horticulture or Landscaping
• Valid driver's license

Experience

• Previous experience in landscaping, horticulture or a similar role is beneficial.
