We are seeking a skilled Environmental Restoration Planner, known as a Marine Habitat Resources Specialist, to support our conservation initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess advanced knowledge in marine biology and ecology, complementing our team's efforts in restoring and preserving marine habitats.

Responsibilities

• Lead ecological assessments and marine habitat evaluations.
• Create and oversee the execution of conservation initiatives tailored to regional needs.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to discuss conservation strategies.
• Stay abreast of innovative techniques and developments in marine conservation.
• Document and present environmental impact assessments to various stakeholders.
• Collaborate with local communities on restoration projects.
• Establish and maintain relationships with government agencies and NGOs for effective resource management.
• Mentor and guide junior team members in research methodologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in marine biology, ecology, or environmental science
• Relevant certifications, such as Certified Wildlife Biologist, are a plus.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in marine habitat conservation.
