Job Description
As a Forest and Conservation Worker, you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing our forestry operations. You'll engage in activities ranging from planting, cultivating, and harvesting trees to ensuring the upkeep of our farm equipment.
Responsibilities
Help in monitoring and maintaining the health of harvested forests.
Engage in soil testing and management activities to improve yields.
Implement sustainable forestry practices in daily operations.
Coordinate with management on crop planning and rotation.
Assist in the upkeep of safety equipment and farm facilities.
Support in managing stock and supplies needed for operations.
Document processes and outcomes for compliance and improvement.
Contribute to a positive team atmosphere focused on collaboration.
Participate in workshops and training to learn about new forestry practices.
Help with any administrative tasks as required by management.
Requirements
Education
Certifications in horticulture or agriculture are preferred.
Experience
Experience in farm labor or forestry is advantageous.
