The Canvas Shrinker is critical to our team's success, specializing in optimizing images and graphics for the Canvas Learning Management System. This role demands a keen eye for detail and a robust understanding of image compression techniques, which are essential for ensuring efficient loading times crucial for an optimal user experience in educational environments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high-quality visuals in the Canvas LMS by optimizing images.
• Work with cross-functional teams to streamline image production workflows.
• Research new technologies and tools that enhance image optimization processes.
• Maintain backups of original images and documentation of adjustments made.
• Support the marketing team by providing optimized graphics for promotional materials.
• Set benchmarks for image performance standards within the Canvas platform.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Web Development, or a related area

Experience

• Similar experience in education technology or digital marketing preferred.

Technical Skills

• Image Optimization Techniques
• GIMP / Photoshop
• Version Control Systems (e.g., Git)

Languages
