Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Drafter to join our Melbourne-based team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating and modifying engineering drawings, ensuring compliance with industry standards while collaborating effectively with engineers and designers to develop precise designs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and project success.
• Ensure design data integrity and manage version control in documentation.
• Develop 3D models for visualisation and analysis.
• Facilitate communication with stakeholders regarding design specifications and requirements.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss project status and challenges.
• Contribute to the development of best practices and standard operating procedures for drafting.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Further certifications in CAD software are advantageous.

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in Engineering Drafting or a related field
