Job Description

The Safety Teacher will play a vital role in educating students about various safety aspects, such as workplace health and safety, emergency procedures, and fire safety. You will be responsible for developing lesson plans, conducting training sessions, and ensuring students understand the importance of safety in daily life.

Responsibilities

  • Create educational materials tailored to various age groups and learning styles.
  • Facilitate discussions about real-life safety scenarios.
  • Conduct evaluations of training effectiveness and update programs accordingly.
  • Build relationships with local emergency services for enhanced training resources.
  • Review and refine safety program content, ensuring it meets current legislation.
  • Mentor and supervise junior safety assistants in training delivery.
  • Engage with community organizations to promote safety education initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety.
  • Advanced diploma of Work Health and Safety is preferred.
Experience
  • 3+ years experience in safety training and education.
