Job Description

As a Remote Sensing Scientist and Technologist, you will operate small unmanned aircraft systems (sUAS) to collect high-resolution aerial data for various projects. Your expertise will help enhance our data processing capabilities and contribute significantly to project outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute flight plans for data collection.
  • Interpret aerial data and generate analytical reports.
  • Collaborate with the data analysis team to enhance product delivery.
  • Utilize GIS software for data processing and mapping.
  • Assist in the development of new operational strategies for data collection.
  • Stay abreast of new technologies in remote sensing and aerial data collection.
  • Provide technical support during the data collection process.
  • Ensure continuous improvement of operational efficiency.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geography, or similar field
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in the use of UAVs/sUAS
