Job Description

As a Traffic Clerk, you'll play a vital role in coordinating and managing traffic operations for our logistics teams. This position involves working closely with drivers, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth transportation processes, timely deliveries, and efficient communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the logistics of shipments and deliveries.
• Maintain communication with stakeholders about shipment statuses.
• Record and report any delays or issues affecting transport timelines.
• Manage relationships with suppliers and customers to ensure service quality.
• Assist in the development of cost-saving strategies for logistics.
• Ensure all transport operations adhere to safety and compliance regulations.
• Provide administrative support to the operations team as needed.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Additional certification in logistics or transportation is preferred

Experience

• Prior experience in a traffic or logistics role is desirable.

Technical Skills

• Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Transportation Management Systems (TMS)

Languages
