Job Description

We are seeking an Operations Forester to oversee and manage our forestry operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing forest management plans, supervising harvesting and replanting, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data and generate reports to inform forestry management decisions.
• Coordinate with environmental agencies to ensure compliance.
• Implement strategies for carbon offset programs and sustainability.
• Ensure health and safety protocols are followed in all operations.
• Utilize GIS technology for spatial analysis and mapping.
• Negotiate with suppliers and contractors for forestry services.
• Monitor and evaluate the success of completed projects.
• Develop stakeholder communication strategies.
