Building Engineer

Job Description

As a Building Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, constructing, and maintaining various building projects. You will collaborate with architects and project managers to ensure projects meet industry standards and client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop building projects from conception to completion.
• Create detailed plans and oversee project execution.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality assurance.
• Collaborate with other professionals to refine project strategies.
• Supervise construction progress and suggest necessary adjustments.
• Prepare and manage project budgets and timelines effectively.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs and expectations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Professional Engineering License is highly preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in building design or construction

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Microsoft Excel

• Strong communication skills
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Professional Engineering License
• LEED Accreditation

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
