Job Description

As the Hydroelectric Production Manager, you will oversee daily operations at our hydroelectric facility. You will manage a skilled team of technicians and engineers, ensuring the safe and efficient production of electricity while adhering to safety and environmental standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage operations of hydroelectric generation equipment.
  • Ensure all outputs meet production targets and standards.
  • Work closely with the safety team to meet safety compliance and regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections and evaluations of equipment performance.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams for timely repairs and upgrades.
  • Manage documentation of production data and maintenance logs.
  • Engage with stakeholders to discuss improvements in production strategies.
  • Evaluate and manage team performance, providing coaching and feedback.
  • Promote a culture of safety and efficiency within the team.
  • Prepare regular reports for management on production metrics and efficiency.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred
Experience
  • 7+ years of experience in energy production or related management roles
