Job Description

As a Leather Skinner, you will play a crucial role in the production team by removing the skin from animal hides with precision and care. We seek candidates who can ensure minimal damage while maintaining high quality standards throughout the skinning process.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all safety measures and personal protective equipment (PPE) are utilized.
  • Maintain an organized and hygienic workspace.
  • Assist in training new employees regarding skinning techniques.
  • Utilize hand tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Evaluate and report on any material shortages to management.
  • Collaborate with Quality Control Inspectors to guarantee product standards.

Requirements

Education
  • No formal qualifications required.
Experience
  • Experience working with specific animal hides (e.g., cow, sheep, or kangaroo) is advantageous.
