Job Description

As a Terrazzo Polisher, you will be responsible for restoring and polishing terrazzo floors, stairs, and walls to ensure a high-quality finish. The role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare terrazzo floors, walls, and stairs for final polishing.
• Use specialized polishing machines and tools proficiently.
• Mix and apply sealants and treatments for surface enhancement.
• Conduct repairs on terrazzo surfaces, ensuring they meet quality standards.
• Maintain a tidy and organized workspace.
• Communicate progress and any issues to the project manager.
• Assist in training junior workers in polishing techniques.
• Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects on time.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Provide after-service support and advice to clients.

Requirements

Education

• Certification in Surface Restoration preferred

Experience

• Experience with other flooring types such as timber, concrete, or tiles is advantageous

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of Floor Finishing

Languages

• English: Fluent
