Still Operator

Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Still Operator to join our team at Prestige Distilleries. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining the still machinery to produce high-quality products. This position offers a unique chance to contribute to our renowned beverage production processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor distilling equipment including stills, boilers, and condensers.
• Follow established procedures to ensure accurate and efficient spirit production.
• Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
• Adjust heating, cooling, and pressure systems as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and quality control standards.
• Work closely with quality assurance teams to resolve any product discrepancies.
• Assist in training new staff on machinery operation.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production improvements.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Experience in the beverage industry is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Quality control procedures
• Forklift operation

• Basic mechanical knowledge: Understanding of mechanical systems to troubleshoot equipment issues.
