Job Description

As an Occupational Health and Safety Technician, you will play a key role in conducting safety research and analysis within your chosen industry. You will be responsible for developing safety standards and procedures, while collaborating with professionals to enhance safety practices. Your expertise will contribute to creating safer work environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform critical safety audits and develop action plans for safety improvements.
• Analyse safety data to provide strategic insights to management.
• Collaborate on safety projects with clients and other stakeholders.
• Monitor and report on compliance with safety regulations.
• Arrange and conduct safety workshops and training sessions.
• Evaluate new safety technologies and recommend improvements.
• Prepare compliance documents and safety certificates.
• Advise on ergonomic improvements and human factors considerations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field
• Relevant postgraduate qualifications are a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in safety management or consultancy
