Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Insurance Underwriter to join our team in Mount Gambier. The ideal candidate will evaluate insurance applications, analyze risks, and determine appropriate coverage and premiums. This role requires a strong understanding of insurance policies and regulations, along with excellent analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft and review technical tax documentation and correspondence.
• Perform analytical review of various financial records to assess tax effects.
• Advise on tax implications related to corporate restructures and transactions.
• Support clients with tax-efficient structuring of their portfolios.
• Provide input on development of new tax strategies and services based on market trends.
• Assist with developing educational materials for client workshops regarding tax issues.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Advanced qualifications in Taxation are favourable

Experience

• 4+ years of hands-on tax consulting experience

Languages
