Job Description

The Audio and Video Technician, also known as the Sound Controller, plays a crucial role in ensuring top-notch sound quality during live performances and events. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing sound systems, recording, and playback, as well as a strong understanding of audio equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Set up audio equipment for live concerts, events, and productions.
  • Mix audio levels during live performances to ensure quality.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to performers.
  • Ensure compliance with sound regulations and guidelines.
  • Assess and troubleshoot sound equipment issues on the spot.
  • Create and maintain a schedule for audio equipment maintenance.
  • Mentor junior technicians and provide constructive feedback.
  • Assist in post-production audio editing and mixing as required.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Music Production or a related field
  • Master's degree is preferable
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in live sound production
Technical Skills

Languages
