Mechanical Drafter

Job Description

As a Mechanical Drafter at Premier Automotive Designs, you'll play a key role in designing and creating 2D and 3D CAD models for automotive components. Your technical skills will help bridge the gap between engineering and design to ensure high-quality outputs.

Responsibilities

• Generate comprehensive drawings and models of new vehicle parts and systems.
• Work alongside engineers to validate designs through prototyping.
• Utilize simulation tools for performance analysis.
• Create and manage project schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Follow project guidelines to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Assist in training junior drafters and interns to enhance team performance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field
• Master's degree is preferable

Experience

• 3-7 years of experience in automotive or mechanical design

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• 3D Printing Technologies

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Problem-Solving

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in cross-functional teams: Proven ability to collaborate in a multi-disciplinary environment.
• AutoCAD certification: Certification in AutoCAD is a significant plus for this role.
