Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our dynamic healthcare team. You will be responsible for drawing blood samples, providing patient care, and ensuring the accuracy of specimen collection.
Responsibilities
Conduct blood draw procedures while adhering to established protocols.
Educate patients on the procedures and assist them in feeling comfortable.
Troubleshoot common issues related to blood draw processes.
Maintain a clean, organized work area and equipment.
Continuously update knowledge of phlebotomy best practices.
Participate in training and continuous education programs.
Requirements
Education
Certificate III in Pathology Collection or equivalent
Experience
Minimum 1 year of experience in phlebotomy or pathology collection

Certifications
Current registration with AHPRA
Languages
English: Fluent
Advantageous
Experience with pediatric patients: Familiarity with special considerations when drawing blood from younger patients.
