Cybersecurity Consultant

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Cybersecurity Consultant to bolster our security team in Adelaide. The successful candidate will apply their expertise to develop and implement effective security strategies to protect our infrastructure from cyber threats. Your role will include conducting risk assessments, analysing security breaches, and collaborating with our IT team to enhance our security posture.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and deploy new security technologies.
• Collaborate with external partners to ensure security compliance.
• Assist in the development of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Participate in security awareness campaigns for employees.
• Ensure effective incident response and reporting processes are in place.
• Regularly report on security posture and recommendations to senior management.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Cybersecurity or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity consulting

• Malware Analysis
• Threat Modelling

Certifications

• CompTIA Security+
• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices: Experience integrating security into the software development lifecycle.
• Experience with SIEM tools: Knowledge of Security Information and Event Management solutions.
