Job Description

As a Photovoltaic Power Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining state-of-the-art photovoltaic systems. You will be responsible for optimising performance and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage photovoltaic systems projects from start to finish.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of system performance and suggest improvements.
  • Provide precise documentation for compliance and quality assurance.
  • Coordinate with contractors and sub-contractors for system installations.
  • Leverage data modelling software to improve system designs.
  • Stay updated with the latest in solar technologies and industry standards.
  • Assist in preparing project budgets and schedules.
  • Interact with clients to understand their specific requirements and incorporate feedback.
  • Promote best practices in health and safety within the engineering team.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy Engineering
  • Master’s degree is advantageous
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in photovoltaic power systems engineering
