Arborist Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking an Arborist Assistant to support our lead arborists in maintaining trees and shrubs. This role involves a mix of physical activity, teamwork, and a passion for the outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Help with the maintenance and planting of trees and shrubs.
• Participate in safety training and apply learned techniques on site.
• Assist in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Support team efforts by contributing positively to group tasks.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Driver's license

Experience

• Relevant experience in landscaping or horticulture preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Heavy Machinery Experience: Experience operating heavy machinery such as skid steers and excavators.
