As a Churn Driller, you will play a crucial role in the drilling operations for oil and gas, utilizing advanced churn drilling techniques. Your expertise will help navigate complex geological formations to extract valuable resources safely and efficiently. This position demands a strong understanding of drilling equipment and the ability to work effectively in teams, often in remote locations.

Responsibilities

• Setup and calibrate drilling rigs for operational efficiency.
• Train junior drilling personnel on safety and operational procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures on-site.
• Document drilling procedures and results for reporting purposes.
• Actively participate in safety audits and compliance checks.
• Assist in the development and improvement of drilling techniques.
• Engage in teamwork with field engineers and technical teams.
• Utilize drilling simulation software for training and operational planning.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certificate or associate degree in drilling technology, engineering, or related field

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in drilling operations, and experience with churn drilling techniques is highly desirable.
