Job Description

As a Clipper Operator, you will be tasked with operating and maintaining clippers in our manufacturing facility. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and precision of wood cutting operations.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate clippers for various wood types and sizes.
• Conduct routine inspections of machinery and reporting any defects.
• Adjust machine controls to regulate cutting speed and pressure.
• Maintain records of production output and assist in inventory management.
• Collaborate with other staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist in training new operators on machine functionalities.
• Participate in safety audits and comply with workplace safety standards.
• Engage in continuous improvement practices to enhance productivity.

Requirements

Education

• Trade qualification in manufacturing or similar field is an advantage

Experience

• Prior experience in the timber industry is highly desirable.
