As a Clipper Operator, you will be tasked with operating and maintaining clippers in our manufacturing facility. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and precision of wood cutting operations.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate clippers for various wood types and sizes.
Conduct routine inspections of machinery and reporting any defects.
Adjust machine controls to regulate cutting speed and pressure.
Maintain records of production output and assist in inventory management.
Collaborate with other staff to ensure smooth operations.
Assist in training new operators on machine functionalities.
Participate in safety audits and comply with workplace safety standards.
Engage in continuous improvement practices to enhance productivity.
Requirements
Education
Trade qualification in manufacturing or similar field is an advantage
Experience
Prior experience in the timber industry is highly desirable.
