Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Orderlies (Ward Aides) to assist our nursing staff in providing exceptional care to patients within our hospital environment. This role involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at ensuring patient comfort and safety, contributing to the overall healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

  • Help nursing staff with the daily care of patients, including personal hygiene and mobility assistance.
  • Ensure that patient environments are safe and hygienic.
  • Assist in transporting patients within the hospital as needed.
  • Report any health concerns to nursing staff promptly.
  • Foster a welcoming environment for patients and their families.
  • Engage in teamwork with healthcare professionals to improve patient care.
  • Uphold the hospital's values of compassion and dignity in every interaction.

Requirements

Education
  • Certificate III in Health Support Services or equivalent
Experience
  • No prior experience required; however, experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous.
