Security Control Assessor

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Security Control Assessor to join our cybersecurity team. You will evaluate and assess security controls implemented across our organization, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Review and improve security frameworks and controls based on risk assessments.
• Provide guidance on maintaining security compliance across departments.
• Actively participate in the development of the organisation's security strategy.
• Develop incident response plans and conduct tabletop exercises.
• Engage with external auditors during assessments.
• Coordinate with law enforcement as necessary during security incidents.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or related field
• Professional certifications (CISSP, CISM, or CRISC) are highly regarded

Experience

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in information security

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in security assessment frameworks
• Competence in vulnerability management tools

Certifications

• CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
• CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)

Languages

• English: Fluent
