Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Security Control Assessor to join our cybersecurity team. You will evaluate and assess security controls implemented across our organization, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and regulations.
Responsibilities
Review and improve security frameworks and controls based on risk assessments.
Provide guidance on maintaining security compliance across departments.
Actively participate in the development of the organisation's security strategy.
Develop incident response plans and conduct tabletop exercises.
Engage with external auditors during assessments.
Coordinate with law enforcement as necessary during security incidents.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or related field
Professional certifications (CISSP, CISM, or CRISC) are highly regarded
Experience
At least 3 years of relevant experience in information security
Technical Skills
Proficiency in security assessment frameworks
Competence in vulnerability management tools
