Job Description

The Pull Over Machine Operator plays a critical role in the production line, where you will be responsible for operating and maintaining knitting machines, ensuring efficient and high-quality output of garments. You'll need to be meticulous in your work and ready to collaborate with a dedicated production team.

Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust knitting machines according to product specifications.
• Load yarn and thread machines to begin production runs.
• Inspect product quality throughout the production process.
• Keep detailed records of production and equipment maintenance.
• Work closely with the production team to optimize workflow.
• Maintain a safe and tidy working environment.
• Participate in training sessions for machine operation and safety protocols.
• Achieve daily and weekly production targets.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• TAFE qualification in Textile Manufacturing is an advantage

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a similar role within the textile industry

Technical Skills

• Fabric knowledge
• Machine troubleshooting

• Work ethic

Certifications

• TAFE Qualification in Production Technology

Languages

• English: Fluent
