Job Description

We are seeking driven Machine Feeders and Offbearers to assist surveyors in the precise measurement and recording of land boundaries and features. As integral members of our field teams, you'll collaborate closely to deliver high-quality surveying data.

Responsibilities

• Aid surveyors in field tasks related to land boundary measurements.
• Mark relevant features and ensure data accuracy with precision tools.
• Operate GPS and total station equipment for effective data gathering.
• Keep surveying tools in good condition through regular maintenance.
• Assist in the documentation of measurements and ensure safety standards.
• Interpret maps and plans under the guidance of the Surveyor.
• Contribute to the organization of survey data and field reports.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate II in Surveying or equivalent

Experience

• Experience in a similar role is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Surveying Software
• GPS Operation

Soft Skills

• Effective Communication
• Physical Fitness

Certifications

• Relevant Work Licenses
• Forklift License (desirable)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience on Large Projects: Experience working on substantial surveying projects.
• Completion of Mapping Courses: Additional training in surveying or mapping is beneficial.
