Merchant Patroller

Job Description

As a Merchant Patroller, you will conduct regular inspections and patrols within designated areas to ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and company policies. The role requires a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to security.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections and monitoring of high-risk areas.
• Utilise CCTV and other technology as part of patrol duties.
• Assist in conflict resolution and de-escalation of tense situations.
• Maintain inventory of security equipment and supplies.
• Create reports on daily activities and submit to management.
• Participate in community safety initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with all safety specifications and regulations.
• Actively engage in continuous improvement of safety protocols.
• Foster an inclusive environment for all team members.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate II in Security Operations
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Current Security License

Experience

• Experience in retail or security industry highly regarded

Technical Skills

• Physical fitness and stamina
• Ability to remain calm in stressful situations

Soft Skills

• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to follow procedures and guidelines

Certifications

Languages

• English: Fluent
