Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Machinery Mechanic to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and rebuilding engines and machinery across various applications, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic tests to identify mechanical issues in machinery.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery to avoid breakdowns.
• Develop standards and procedures for machinery repairs and maintenance.
• Assist in training new mechanics on repair techniques and safety practices.
• Communicate effectively with management about repairs and needed improvements.
• Utilize mechanical tools and diagnostic equipment proficiently.
• Manage inventory of spare parts and tools required for repairs.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss workflow and safety compliance.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology
• Trade qualification as a Motor Mechanic or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in engine rebuilding and repair.

Technical Skills

• Strong mechanical skills
• Experience with diagnostic equipment

Languages

• English: Fluent
