Telecommunications Line Installer and Repairer

Job Description

Seeking a skilled Telephone Lineman who can effectively install, repair, and maintain telecommunication lines and equipment. The role demands strong problem-solving abilities to identify technical issues and enhance service reliability for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct installation and set-up of communication equipment.
• Diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Communicate effectively with customers and technical staff.
• Maintain detailed records of installations, repairs, and checks.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through quality service.
• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Report any unsafe conditions or hazardous practices.
• Assist in emergency repairs as required.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate IV in Telecommunications
• Relevant certifications are a plus

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience as a Telephone Lineman or similar role.
