Job Description

As an Accounting Instructor, you will teach a variety of accounting courses while developing curriculum materials that meet industry standards. Collaborate with faculty and staff to create a supportive learning environment that empowers students.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver lectures on key accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax planning.
  • Lead discussions that facilitate understanding of complex accounting concepts.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure comprehensive education for students.
  • Grade assignments and exams and provide timely feedback.
  • Mentor students in their academic and professional journeys.
  • Utilize technology effectively to enhance teaching and student engagement.
  • Conduct academic research to remain abreast of developments in the field of accounting.
  • Engage in curriculum review and enhancement to maintain excellence in teaching.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred
  • Teaching qualification desirable
Experience
  • Experience in teaching at the tertiary level is preferred.
